Job summary

Team Global Express in Gracemere, Rockhampton region, is hiring a Forklift Operator / HC Driver for a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday. You will perform forklift operations and HC driving as required to support freight movements across our transport operations.

This role emphasizes safe handling, accurate documentation, and adherence to CoR. Applicants should have a LF forklift licence and HC licence (or higher) with prior transport experience.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) is required.
• Current HC licence or higher is highly regarded.
• Experience operating forklifts in transport/logistics.
• Experience loading/unloading vehicles and containers.
• Strong understanding of CoR requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load/unload vehicles, containers and PUDs.
• Load, unload and stage freight within operational areas.
• Prepare freight for delivery runs and ensure safe loading.
• Assist with HC deliveries and semi-trailer duties when required.
• Complete vehicle pre-start checks and delivery paperwork.
• Ensure freight handling complies with CoR and safety procedures.
• Complete freight scanning and maintain documentation accurately.
• Maintain forklifts and equipment in safe, clean condition.
• Follow hazard reporting and incident reporting requirements.
