Job summary

Rombola Family Farms in Griffith, NSW, is hiring a Forklift Driver to support harvest operations, handle bins, weigh, pack, and load produce into the cool room and trucks according to instructions.

The role reports to the Production Manager and requires a current unencumbered driver's licence, proven forklift experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team while meeting safety and operational targets.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Driver's Licence.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
• Team player who can work effectively with people from different backgrounds.
• Awareness and ability to adhere to rules and procedures.
• Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist harvest operations by performing bin receival, weighting, packing and loading.
• Load produce into the cool room and trucks as directed.
• Ensure trailers are loaded in a timely manner and bins are stacked correctly.
• Load and stage loads, check weights and seedless sizes for accuracy.
• Conduct daily forklift checks and inspect equipment for wear and damage.
• Ensure bin labels are correct and Pack Manager entries are accurate.
