Job summary

Direct Personnel is seeking an experienced Factory Worker/Forklift Operator for a busy recycling and processing facility in Banyo. The role combines forklift operation with general factory duties, requiring initiative and the ability to work independently when needed.

Ideal candidates will have factory or production experience, a current forklift licence, and a valid police check or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory, manufacturing, recycling or production environment.
• Current forklift licence with confident operating experience.
• Reliable, motivated and able to use your initiative.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit for hands-on and repetitive work.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety.
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport.
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move materials and products around the site.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Sort and process materials.
• Work across production and processing areas.
• Operate machinery and basic equipment.
• Manual handling and general factory duties.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe.
• Assist with day-to-day workflow and priorities as required.
