Wiseway Logistics (WWG) is expanding its Thomastown warehouse and seeks experienced forklift operators to join the team. This role focuses on safe operation, efficient loading and unloading, and accurate handling of freight.

You will stack pallets, wrap loads, weigh and label cargo, assist with packing/unpacking, stock control, and contribute to overall warehouse maintenance while following WHS procedures. A current forklift licence, previous warehouse experience, reliability, good time

Qualificações

• Current and valid forklift licence with experience.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Good time management with attention to detail.
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual.
• Must be physically fit and safety-conscious.

Responsabilidades

• Forklift operation in variable storage environment (dry and cold storage).
• Load and unload freight from trucks and place in allocated areas.
• Pack and unpack aircraft/shipping containers.
• Pallet stacking and wrapping.
• Assist to prepare and repack cargo/freight for delivery.
• Accurate weighing and labelling of cargo.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of WHS and compliance requirements.
• Manual handling with repetitive work and occasional heavy lifting.
• Stock control and management.
• Follow procedures and communicate with supervisors and warehouse team.

Due to company growth and expansion in workload, we are seeking experienced Forklift operators to join our warehouse team at Thomastown.

The Role:

You will be responsible for:

Forklift operation in variable storage environment (dry and cold storage)

Efficiently load and unload freight from trucks and placing them in their allocated areas

Packing and unpacking of aircraft/shipping containers

Pallet stacking and wrapping

Assisting to prepare and repack cargo/freight for delivery

Accurate weighing and labelling of cargo

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of WHS and compliance requirements

Manual handling - repetitive work with occasional heavy lifting involved

Stock control and management

Follow procedures and communicate effectively with supervisors and other warehouse team members

Overall warehouse duties – general maintenance and cleaning of warehouse

To be successful, you will need to have the following:

Current and Valid forklift licence with experience

Experience in a warehouse environment (preferred)

Good time management with attention to details

Reliable, hardworking, and punctual

Must be physically fit

Strong all round safety awareness

A team player who is willing to provide support to the wider team
