Job summary

Hyne Timber in Tumbarumba, NSW is hiring a Process Operator for our Despatch Team. You will be based at the Tumbarumba Mill and receive training on the operation of various parts of our business to help create a high-quality timber product.

This full-time role offers shift options and a safety-focused environment, with opportunities to develop new skills in a supportive, family-owned business.

Your Next Role

Due to growth within our business Hyne are offering exciting opportunities to grow, develop and learn as a Process Operator in our Despatch Team at our Tumbarumba Mill. In this role you will be supported with training on the operation of various parts of our business and be shown our processes and procedures to create a high-quality timber product.

Tumbarumba

You will be based at our plant in Tumbarumba, NSW. This idyllic country town offers affordable living and the opportunity to be a part of a supportive community of people and is situated within 2 hours drive of Wagga Wagga & Albury.

Shift Details

Despatch Day Shift

• Hours: 8 hour shifts, 6:30am - 2:30pm
• 5 days a week, Monday - Friday
• Full Time Job Opportunity with leave entitlement

Despatch Night Shift

• Hours: 8 hour shifts, 10:30pm - 6:30am
• 5 days a week, Monday - Friday
• 30% shift loading
• Full Time Job Opportunity with leave entitlement

About you

• Forklift License required.
• A high commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team with good problem-solving skills.
• A desire to learn and high level of enthusiasm to develop new skills.
• Self-motivated and keen to provide new solutions and ideas that improve our operations.
