Job summary

Northline is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Afternoon shift at our Sunshine West depot. You will load and unload a range of freight, including oversized and long lengths, and operate forklifts in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You must hold a valid LF licence and have forklift experience in a similar setting, with opportunities for training, development and internal progression within a family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Forklift Licence (LF).
• Experience operating a Forklift in a transport/logistics environment.
• Experience loading/unloading a variety of freight including oversized and long lengths.
• Be able to manually handle freight up to 20kg.

Northline are on the lookout for Forklift Operators to join our Afternoon shift Team at our depot in Sunshine West.

Shift hours are typically from 2:00 pm or 3:00 pm through to 10:00 pm or 11:00 pm.

As a Forklift Operator you will take great pride and satisfaction in the challenge and variety that Northline has to offer, while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

As a Forklift Operator your duties will include:

• Loading a range of general freight, including oversized, blended and long lengths;
• Loading and unload mezzanine floor trailers, line-haul trailers, local vehicles and containers;

As a successful candidate you will:

• Hold a valid Forklift Licence (LF);
• Have experience operating a Forklift in a similar environment or industry (Transport and Logistics);
• Have experience loading/unloading a variety of freight including oversized, ugly, long lengths, general and non-palletised freight;
• Be able to manually handle freight up to 20kgs.
