Job summary

KB Seafood Co. is seeking a Forklift Operator at our Morningside factory in Queensland, Australia. This full-time, permanent role offers an early-start, early-finish day shift with a stable roster and fortnightly pay.

You will join a large, inclusive team and contribute to efficient loading, unloading and inventory handling in a fast-paced production environment. Applicants must have full Australian work rights and be capable of following instructions with strong numeracy.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation competency is required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload trucks, pallets and containers.
• Maintain accurate inventory by scanning/recording materials.
• Follow safety procedures including food handling practices when required.
• Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dynamic and diverse Team at our Morningside factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Forklift operations and loading/unloading trucks, pallets, and containers
• Maintain accurate inventory handling by scanning, recording, or tagging materials as required
• Manual handling, when required
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures including safe food handling practices
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
