Job summary

Talent Acquisition Group’s client in Revesby is seeking experienced forklift drivers for an ongoing role. The position involves operating a 16-tonne forklift in a container yard, loading/unloading freight, and moving items safely around the yard.

Key duties include stacking containers, performing pre-start checks, and adhering to site safety procedures. Candidates must hold a valid LF forklift licence, have experience with large-capacity forklifts, and have full working rights in Australia.

Job description

Our client is currently seeking experienced Forklift drivers for an ongoing opportunity based in Revesby.

What's on offer:

• Monday to Friday
• 9am-5pm
• 11am-7pm
• $35 per hour

Your duties will include:

• Operating a 16-tonne forklift within a container yard
• Loading and unloading containers and freight
• Moving and positioning heavy freight around the yard
• Stacking and organising containers and freight
• Conducting pre-start equipment checks
• Following site safety procedures
• General yard and freight handling duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

• Current and valid LF Forklift Licence
• Proven experience operating large-capacity forklifts, ideally 16-tonne
• Previous container yard or heavy freight experience highly regarded
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and moving vehicles
• Good work ethic and reliable attendance
• Availability to work Monday to Friday
• Full working rights in Australia
• PPE including Hi-Vis and steel cap safety boots
