Job summary

Mploy HR Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver / Yard Hand for our Springvale, VIC site. This role requires an LF licence and counterbalance forklift experience in a yard or construction setting.

You will move large screens, platforms and formwork equipment, assist with loading/unloading, maintain an organized yard, and help keep safety at the forefront on busy commercial projects.

Qualifications

• LF forklift licence is essential.
• Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction environment.
• Experience handling large or oversized materials is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load and unload large construction materials and equipment.
• Assist with movement and handling of screens, platforms, jump forms and other formwork equipment.
• Support the yard team with preparation, dispatch and receiving of materials for commercial construction projects.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Assist with general yard duties and manual handling as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized yard.
• Conduct routine forklift and equipment checks and report any issues.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver / Yard Hand to join our client’s team in Springvale, VIC.

This role would suit someone with a commercial construction or industrial yard background, rather than someone with only general warehouse experience. You will be supporting the yard team with the movement, loading and unloading of larger construction screens, platforms, jump forms and other equipment used across commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a counterbalance forklift to safely move, load and unload large construction materials and equipment

Assist with the movement and handling of screens, platforms, jump forms and other formwork equipment

Support the yard team with the preparation, dispatch and receiving of materials for commercial construction projects

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

Assist with general yard duties and manual handling as required

Maintain a clean, safe and organized yard

Conduct routine forklift and equipment checks and report any issues

Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture

Requirements

Valid LF forklift licence (essential)
