Job summary

Octopus Labour is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver/Team Leader to join the Container Unloading crew based in Pemulwuy. The role is ongoing, with Monday to Friday shifts starting from 6:00am and offering an excellent pay rate.

You will operate a Counterbalance Forklift, lead a small unloading team, and assist with container unloading as needed. The ideal candidate will have LF Forklift Licence, proven forklift and container unloading experience, strong communication skills, and reliable

• Strong, proven experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift.
• Container unloading experience is essential.
• LF Forklift Licence is required.
• Good communication and reliable transport are expected.
• Ability to lead a team and take responsibility as a Team Leader.
• Willingness to assist with manual unloading as needed.

We are currently looking for an experienced Forklift Driver / Team Leader to join our Container Unloading team and work with one of our clients based in Pemulwuy.

This is an excellent ongoing opportunity for someone with strong forklift and container unloading experience who is looking for consistent Monday to Friday work.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong and proven experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift

• Previous container unloading experience is essential

• LF Forklift Licence

• Ability to work well within a team and take responsibility as a Team Leader

• Comfortable assisting with manual unloading and lifting as part of the role

• No restrictions on lifting or manual handling
