Job summary

Symmetry Human Resources Group is recruiting for a High Reach Forklift Driver in Brisbane (Banyo). You will operate a high reach forklift in a freezer environment at -18°C to -21°C and assist with warehouse duties for safe stock movement.

The role requires prior high reach forklift experience and a valid LF licence. You will work a four-day Mon-Thu schedule, 12:00 PM–6:30 PM, with a base rate of AUD 34.96 per hour plus a freezer allowance of AUD 0.85 per hour, total AUD 35.81 per hour.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced High Reach Forklift Driver to join our client's team in Banyo. This role is ideal for a reliable and safety-conscious operator who is comfortable working in a freezer environment with temperatures ranging from -18°C to -21°C.

You will be responsible for operating a high reach forklift and assisting with warehouse duties to ensure the safe and efficient movement of stock.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a high reach forklift safely and efficiently.
• Move, stack, and store stock within the freezer warehouse.
• Pick and replenish stock as required.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when needed.

Requirements

• Previous high reach forklift experience is essential.
• Valid and current LF forklift licence.
• Comfortable working in a freezer environment at -18°C to -21°C.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transport to and from the Banyo site is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

• $34.96 per hour base rate
• $0.85 per hour freezer allowance
• Total: $35.81 per hour
• Consistent four-day work schedule, Monday to Thursday.
• Afternoon shift from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
