Job summary

• Our client in Somerville is a sheet metal building products company and they are after a Forklift Driver /Store person that has a forklift license to join their team.

  Reporting to: Manager

  Department: Warehouse Receiving and Dispatch

  Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:0 am – :00 pm

  Person Specification/Job Summary

  Our client is on the hunt for a store person with a forklift license to join them full time at their factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing receipting of all incoming goods into stores and other stock control duties, loading and unloading of trucks.

  Job Duties

  You will be responsible for:

  • Goods inwards and receipting of stock and control of paperwork associated. Picking, packing and packaging orders for dispatch Interacting with warehouse and office staff as required General housekeeping

  Skills and Experience

  Essential
  • Proven, checkable experience in a similar role
  • Communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Numerate and computer literate in standard IT packages (purpose of booking in and out etc.)
  • Full, clean driving license
  • Fit and able to lift up to 15kg if required, honest, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Forklift certificate due to government mandates all candidates must be Vaccinated
