Qualifications

• PhD (or near completion) in Remote Sensing, Computer Vision, Forestry, Geomatics, ML, Spatial Stats or closely related field.
• Experience with LiDAR processing, forest inventory, photogrammetry, ML or computer vision.
• Programming in Python, R, or MATLAB; strong quantitative skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop next‑gen calibration-transfer and domain adaptation for multi‑platform LiDAR.
• Model forest structural attributes and quantify uncertainty in operational inventory.
• Contribute to scalable processing pipelines for large point‑cloud datasets.
• Publish high‑impact papers and collaborate with forestry industry partners.
