Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action seeks a Forest and Fire Operations Officer – Technical Lead to manage work groups and oversee fire prevention and operational tasks across Victoria’s forests and protected lands.

You will contribute to emergency response and planned burning operations, with potential deployment across the state and a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship and public safety.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge or experience working in bushfire response or forest operations is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding in natural resource management, preferably with good knowledge of forest management and forest operations.
