Job summary

The Clinical Coordinator leads the State-wide Forensic Service multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, safe and coordinated care to children and adolescents with mental health issues in forensic contexts.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree with eligibility for AASW membership, Psychology registration, or Occupational Therapy registration.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with NMBA and completion of an approved Mental Health qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience for the Registered Nurse pathway.
  • Demonstrated leadership, clinical expertise and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in child and adolescent mental health, including working with children, adolescents and their families.

  • Implement and coordinate quality management across unit in line with WCHN risk management framework and professional practice framework.

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator provides clinical leadership and day-to-day coordination of the State-wide Forensic Service multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe and coordinated care to children and adolescents experiencing mental health issues in the context of forensic matters.

Key duties of the role
