Job summary

Framework Search & Select is expanding a family-friendly therapy service across Adelaide and seeks a Forensic PBS Practitioner to join their team. You will undertake behavioural assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions in a supportive setting, working with clients with complex needs in schools, homes or community environments.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Developmental Education

Responsibilities

• Undertake behavioural assessments and functional behavioural analyses
• Deliver evidence-based interventions & assessments, behavioural counselling & support to a range of clients with mental illness, extreme functional impairment, and very high support needs
• Provide training and reflective practice to care teams/outreach support services of complex clients after a behaviour support plan is developed
• Achieve client defined clinical outcomes such as reducing challenging behaviour & improving quality of life

Key responsibilities

• Undertake behavioural assessments and functional behavioural analyses

• Provide training and reflective practice to care teams/outreach support services of complex clients after a behaviour support plan is developed

Key selection criteria

• Relevant tertiary qualification inPsychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Developmental Education
• Full registration with the relevant membership body (AHPRA, SPA, DEAI or AASW)
• Registered & endorsed as a PBS practitioner with NDIS (Core and above)
• Experience within the criminal justice sector and in forensic behavioural science
• Experience supporting clients with multiple behaviours of concern, psychosocial disability arising from severe mental illness, extreme functional impairment, and very high support needs
