Job summary

Redcliffe Golf Club is seeking a motivated Course Forman 3 IC to join the Grounds team. This hands-on role focuses on delivering high-quality playing surfaces year-round and supporting ongoing course improvement projects at Brisbane’s well-established club.

You will work alongside the Course Superintendent, maintain greens/tees/fairways, and help implement turf management and renovation initiatives while ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in turf maintenance on golf courses or sports turf environments.
• Knowledge of turf maintenance practices and irrigation systems.
• Chemical handling accreditation is preferred.
• Current driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the course for daily play across greens, tees and fairways.
• Operate turf maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems.
• Assist with spraying, fertiliser applications and turf care programs.
• Contribute to course improvement projects and renovations.
• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Redcliffe Golf Club is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Course Forman 3 IC to join our Grounds team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about turf management and golf course presentation to contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of one of Brisbane’s well-established golf clubs.

Working alongside the Course Superintendent and wider grounds team, you will assist in maintaining exceptional playing conditions across all areas of the course while supporting improvement and renovation projects currently underway.

The Role

This hands-on position involves all aspects of golf course maintenance and presentation, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality playing surfaces for members and guests year-round.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparing the course for daily play, including greens, tees and fairways
• Operating a variety of turf maintenance equipment and machinery
• Monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems
• Assisting with spraying, fertiliser applications and general turf care programs
• Contributing to course improvement projects and renovations
• Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working on a golf course or sports turf environment
• Good knowledge of turf maintenance practices and irrigation systems
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• The ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Chemical accreditation (preferred but not essential)
• A current driver’s license
