Job summary

Tradewind Australia is partnering with a well-established K-12 Christian school in Western Sydney to recruit a Food Technology Teacher for a permanent, full-time position commencing 2027.

This role invites a passionate Technologies teacher to deliver engaging learning across Food Technology and Hospitality (if applicable) within a supportive secondary school environment and a faith‑based educational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent (min 4-year qualification)
• NESA registration
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check
• Two referees with educational backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Teach Stage 4 Technology Mandatory and Stage 5/6 Food Technology
• Deliver engaging learning across Food Technology and Hospitality (if applicable)

This is a great opportunity for a passionate Technologies teacher to deliver engaging learning across Food Technology and Hospitality (if applicable) within a supportive secondary school environment.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Has the ability to teach Stage 4 Technology Mandatory and Stage 5/6 Food Technology. Stage 6 VET Hospitality is desirable but not required
• Demonstrates effective classroom management and a commitment to student wellbeing
• Has an engaging, student-centred approach to teaching and learning
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
• Is committed to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
• Has a genuine commitment to Christian education

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent (minimum 4-year qualification or 75% completion)
• NESA registration
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check
• Two referees with educational backgrounds
