Job summary

Tradewind Australia is partnering with a Western Sydney K-12 Christian school to recruit a permanent, full-time Food Technology Teacher starting 2027. The role covers Stage 4 Technology Mandatory and Stage 5/6 Food Technology, with potential involvement in VET Hospitality.

You will join a collaborative, student-centred learning environment and contribute to a strong wellbeing focus while delivering quality lessons and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent (minimum 4-year qualification or 75% completion).
• NESA registration is required.
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check.
• Two referees with educational backgrounds.
• Christian church reference is requested.

Tradewind Australia is working with a well-established K-12 Christian school in Western Sydney to recruit a Food Technology Teacher for a permanent, full-time position commencing 2027.

This is a great opportunity for a passionate Technologies teacher to deliver engaging learning across Food Technology and Hospitality (if applicable) within a supportive secondary school environment.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Has the ability to teach Stage 4 Technology Mandatory and Stage 5/6 Food Technology. Stage 6 VET Hospitality is desirable but not required


• Demonstrates effective classroom management and a commitment to student wellbeing


• Has an engaging, student-centred approach to teaching and learning


• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team


• Is committed to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement


• Has a genuine commitment to Christian education

Key Requirements:
