Job summary

Evolve Scientific is hiring for a 9-month maternity leave NPD role focused on soups, meals and salads. You will support the later stages of product development, manage smaller NPD projects and coordinate factory trials, ensuring smooth handover to production.

This on-site role requires a Food Science/Technology degree and 2+ years in food manufacturing or NPD, with strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration. Flexibility and hands-on attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Candidate holds a degree in Food Science or Food Technology.
• At least 2+ years in food manufacturing or NPD.
• Experience coordinating factory trials and scale-up.
• Strong documentation and handover skills.
• Experience with short-shelf-life, chilled or meat products is a plus.
• Adaptable, hands-on and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating factory-scale trials and product launches.
• Liaising with production, operations, QA and chefs.
• Preparing factory recipes, batch sheets and production handover documents.
• Developing photo standards, quality guides and manufacturing instructions.
• Supporting first production runs and troubleshooting scale-up issues.
• Completing product specifications, trial reports and launch documentation.
