Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking a friendly Food Services Assistant to join the Maroochydore facility on a permanent part-time basis, helping to prepare and serve meals with a courteous, professional approach.

You’ll work as part of an experienced team, covering morning and/or afternoon shifts (07:00–14:00 and 14:00–20:00) across Monday to Sunday, in a modern aged-care setting on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety hygiene standards.
• Willing to apply for a National Coordinated Criminal History Check.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (willing to apply).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food service duties including setting tables, cleaning dishes and cleaning.
• Support in preparation and serving of meals to residents.
• Maintain clean and welcoming dining areas and assist with resident care as needed.

Our 130-bed facilityisa modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service located in a master-planned community precinct on Queensland’s famed Sunshine Coast.

• Permanent part-time basis
• Commitment to cover AM (07:00 - 14:00) and/or PM (14:00 - 20:00) shifts. Availability across Monday to Sunday is essential
• Previousexperience in a similar roleassistingin the preparation and serving of meals

• Genuine and professional customer service skills, team player and well presented
• Previousexperience in a similar role, desirable
• Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards
