Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia invites applications for a Food Service Assistant at our Maroochydore facility on the Sunshine Coast. You’ll join an experienced team delivering meals and supporting residents with a welcoming, professional service in a modern 130-bed aged care setting.

Part-time permanent or casual role with AM/PM shifts, Monday to Friday, requires previous food service experience and adherence to food safety standards. NDIS Worker Screening will be required.

As 1 of our friendly Food Service Assistants, you’ll be part of an experienced and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our Maroochydore facility. We are located in the heart of Sunshine Coast, which is within walking distance of restaurants and boutiques alongDuporthAvenue, the Sunshine Plaza shopping centre, theMaroochyRSL, Maroochydore Rotary Park, and theMaroochyRiver. Our 130-bed facilityis a modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service located in a master-planned community precinct on Queensland’s famed Sunshine Coast.

Things that work for us:

• Ability to work on a permanent part-time basis (or casual basis)
• Commitment to cover AM (0700-1400) and/or PM (1400-2000) shifts, Monday to Friday
• Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals
• Assisting with food service duties including setting tables, cleaning dishes and cleaning
• Genuine and professional customer service skills, team player and well presented
• Previous experience in a similar role, desirable
• Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards
• Current or willing to apply for a NDIS Worker Screening Check
