Yatala depot of Tasty Fresh Food Co. is seeking a Food Production & Warehouse Assistant – Afternoon Shift. Join a friendly, hands-on team across food production, bakery, and warehouse tasks with consistent afternoon rosters.

Casual temporary role, up to 25 hours per week, typically 2–3pm starts and 8–9pm finishes, Sundays to Thursdays. Training provided; forklift licence highly regarded; reliable transport essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience is helpful but not essential.
• Able to lift 10–15kg and perform active duties.
• Reliable transport to and from every shift, including Sunday shifts.

Responsibilities

Food Production & Warehouse Assistant – Afternoon Shift

Yatala | $34.76/hr casual (aged 21+) | Up to 25 hours per week | Sunday–Thursday

Join Tasty Fresh Food Co.’s Yatala depot, working across food and bakery production, warehouse and pick-pack duties in a friendly, supportive team.

Hours and benefits

• Up to 25 hours per week, across 3–5 shifts, depending on staffing requirements
• Variable starts, most commonly 2–3pm, with finishes between 8–9pm
• Shifts typically 4–6 hours
• Sunday–Thursday—mornings free

Availability for varying start and finish times is essential.

The role

• Prepare and assemble fresh food, including sandwiches and wraps

About you

You’re dependable, friendly and willing to learn, comfortable following direction and happy working independently or with the team.

Your teammates count on you to be there—turning up on time for every rostered shift is essential.

You’ll also need:

• A positive attitude and willingness to help
• Ability to learn and retain instructions
• Ability to safely lift 10–15kg and complete active duties
• Reliable transport to and from every shift, including Sunday shifts and finishes as late as 9pm

Working with meat, dairy and gluten-containing products is part of the role.
