Job summary

MTYU - Stones Corner is seeking a diligent food production specialist for a contract to full-time role in Brisbane. You will handle food preparation, assembly line tasks, and operate ovens and packaging equipment in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires physical work (lifting up to 20 kg), adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to work in a cold environment around 4C. On-site position with potential for longer-term engagement and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and assembly line tasks.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment and packaging machinery.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment and lifting up to 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation: trimming produce and meats, prepping vegetables.
• Assembly line: portioning meals and moving products between areas.
• Machine operation: mixing ingredients and operating ovens and wrapping equipment.
• Physical work: pick/pack and handling racks and boxes up to 20 kg.
• Work in a temperature-controlled environment (approx. 4C).
