Job Description

Permanent part-time | Monday–Wednesday | 4 pm–approximately 11 pm We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on Food Production Assistant to join our commercial kitchen team, helping prepare ready‑made favourites including tiramisu, meatballs and arancini.

About the role

• Work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, from 4 pm until approximately 11 pm.
• Prepare ingredients and produce meals following recipes and instructions.
• Portion and pack finished products.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Clean equipment and work areas throughout and at the end of each shift.

About you

You’re dependable, have good attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team. You’re comfortable with practical kitchen work and can consistently commit to all three evenings. Previous kitchen or food production experience is an advantage.

Pay and employment

This is a permanent part-time position, paid under the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award, with applicable penalty rates, superannuation and paid leave entitlements.
