Job summary

Aus Smallgoods in Victoria, Melton area, is seeking a reliable Food Process Worker to join our production team on a casual basis, with consistent hours and a pathway to permanent full-time employment. You will assist in meat product production, operate machinery, follow recipes, and perform manual handling up to 27 kg in a refrigerated environment while adhering to HACCP guidelines.

Pre-employment medical testing and safety, quality standards are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing preferred but not essential.
• Ability to follow processes and recipes.
• Physically capable of manual handling up to 27 kg.

• Assist in the production of meat products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Operate machinery, including loading and unloading equipment
• Accurately follow recipes and measure ingredients
• Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting between 20kg-27kg
• Work in refrigerated environments handling both fresh and frozen meat products
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines, including monitoring Critical Control Points, temperature checks, and cleaning procedures

We are a well-established food manufacturing business in operation for over 25 years, specialising in meat products for the pizza industry. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Food Process Worker to join our production team.

This is a casual position with consistent hours with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of meat products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Operate machinery, including loading and unloading equipment
• Accurately follow recipes and measure ingredients
• Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting between 20kg-27kg
• Work in refrigerated environments handling both fresh and frozen meat products
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines, including monitoring Critical Control Points, temperature checks, and cleaning procedures

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Regular overtime available

About You

• Previous experience in food manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Confident, reliable, and well-presented
