Qualifications

• Experience in waiting or food & beverage roles is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service commitment.
• Ability to work quickly and calmly in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with varied shifts including weekends/Public holidays.
• RSA is desirable or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival.
• Take and input food & beverage orders accurately into the POS.
• Serve food and drinks promptly at tables.
• Clear and reset tables between seatings.
• Handle payments with cash and card transactions accurately.
• Know menu items, specials and dietary options to make recommendations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

The Coffee Club Village Square Browns Plains is seeking enthusiastic and friendly Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a vibrant café and restaurant environment. Based in Browns Plains, QLD, you will be at the heart of our operation, creating memorable experiences for our guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness. This role offers flexibility and the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting where no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming guests in a warm and professional manner upon arrival
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and inputting them into the point-of-sale system
• Serving food and drinks promptly and courteously to customers at tables
• Clearing and resetting tables efficiently between seatings to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment
• Processing payments and handling cash and card transactions with accuracy
• Maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to make recommendations and assist with dietary requirements
• Communicating effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Supporting the team with general café and restaurant duties as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as waiting staff, food and beverage attendant, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst remaining calm under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Positive attitude, team-player mentality, and willingness to support colleagues
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Desirable: RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it
