Ventia at Puckapunyal Military Area is seeking a Part-time Food & Beverage Attendant to support Defence personnel and visitors with a customer-first dining experience. You will contribute to a positive environment and uphold high hygiene standards while working a 22-hour roster each week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve Defence personnel during breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Provide outstanding service to all guests on every shift.
• Deliver professional bar service following RSA standards.
• Keep dining and bar areas clean and tidy.
• Assist with basic food prep and restocking where needed.

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to Defence personnel, visitors, and staff. This opportunity is ideal for experienced hospitality professionals who bring a customer-first mindset, a positive approach, and a genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences.

Your Responsibilities Includes

• Serving Military Personnel during messes (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• Delivering an outstanding service to all guests, every shift
• Providing professional bar service (RSA standards)
• Keeping dining and bar areas clean and tidy
• Assisting with basic food prep and restocking where needed
• Following food safety and hygiene standards
• Working as part of a friendly, supportive team

About You

• Demonstrated prior experience in hospitality & catering services
• Current Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (Required)
• Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service.

Defence Clearance Requirements

This role requires eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance. As a result, applicants must be Australian Citizens.
