Australian Sustainable Dairies Pty Ltd. Carrum VIC is seeking Packer / Food Assembly Line Production Workers to join our team across all shifts. The roles involve repetitive assembly line packing, quality checks, and safe handling of products.

On-site work with training provided; ability to lift up to 15 kg is required. We offer permanent Level 1 roles with day, afternoon and night shifts and hourly rates from AUD 24.28 to AUD 31.56 depending on shift.

Qualifications

• Previous packing/processing experience essential.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• Commitment to safety and able to perform manual handling up to 15 kg.

Responsibilities

• Work on the assembly line performing repetitive packing and boxing of products.
• Monitor product quality on the line and after production; take action if variation is observed.
• Lift and pull items up to 15 kg as required; assist with cleaning and sanitation schedules.

Permanent Level 1 Afternoon Shift - $27.92 per hour

Permanent Level 1 Night Shift - $31.56 per hour

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Packer positions are responsible for ensuring all scheduled production tasks are carried out according to procedures and quality standards in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

This includes (but not limited to) the following:

Working on the assembly line, with repetitive actions, packing and boxing of products

Monitoring of product quality on the line and after production, whilst taking positive action if variation is observed

Lifting and pulling of items up to 15kg

Completion of cleaning and sanitation procedures and schedules as directed

To be the successful candidate, you will have:

Previous packing/process worker experience essential, ideally in the food industry

Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment

Demonstrate a commitment to safety to yourself and your colleagues

Forklift Licence would be advantageous

Ability to work with limited supervision

Willingness to learn new skills
