Job summary

ALH Hotels' Esplanade Hotel in Adelaide is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor who thrives on guest connection, smooth service, and leading the bistro floor.

This full-time role requires RSA, flexibility to work mornings and evenings, weekends, and a hands-on approach to lifting and stock deliveries. You will mentor a team, uphold high standards, and share passion for pub food and drinks.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service excellence and guest focus.
• Experience in a supervisory or lead role on a hospitality floor.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.

About The Role

Food & Beverage Supervisor - Esplanade Hotel

We’re searching high and low for a true ‘people person’ with a real passion for pub food and drinks. Sure, everyone serves food and drinks but you bring the magic and make it unforgettable! Be apart of the newly re-opened iconic venue! We're looking for a full-time Bistro Manager to help lead the team.

A Day In The Life Of a F&B Supervisor

• Be the face of the floor, connecting with guests and making sure every visit is a memorable one.
• Help manage the bistro floor and lead by example.
• Share your passion for our products and recommend the perfect meal or drink to make a guest's day.
• Deliver top-notch customer service and make every interaction fun and memorable.
• From the first pour of the day to the final lock-up, you'll be on the front lines, making sure our standards are sky-high and the experience is one to remember.

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About You

• You’re a natural at making people feel welcome and have a knack for the little details.
• You are able to work 7AM - 4PM or 11AM to 9PM (Weekends included).
• You’re a team player who is motivated to create magic for both guests and teammates.
• You have a current RSA certificate and flexible availability.
• Some experience in a supervisor role highly regarded but not essential.
