Job summary

Lancemore Macedon Ranges is seeking a passionate Food & Beverage Manager to lead our F&B operation across weddings, conferences and events. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work closely with the Executive Chef and leadership team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue, cost control and a high-performing team.

You will manage labour, stock, and service standards during busy event periods, develop people, and shape the F&B experience at this premium Victorian

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Food & Beverage operation within hotels, resorts, conferences or events.
• Proven track record delivering high-end weddings, conferences and events.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach and develop teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with focus on revenue, costs and profitability.
• Experience managing labour and rosters for busy events.
• Knowledge of stock management, purchasing, wastage and cost control.
• Ability to maintain high service standards during peak event periods.

As part of the Lancemore Hotel Group, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our F&B operation and play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll work closely with the Executive Chef and wider leadership team to deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences across weddings, conferences and events.

About You

You are a confident and energetic hospitality leader who understands what it takes to deliver exceptional service in a high‑end events environment. You are equally comfortable engaging with guests on the floor, coaching your team and reviewing the commercial performance of the department.

You will have:

• Previous experience managing a Food & Beverage operation within a hotel, resort, conference or events environment.
• Proven experience delivering high‑end weddings, conferences and events.
• Strong technical service skills and sound knowledge of food, wine and beverage.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop your team.
• Strong commercial and business acumen, with a focus on revenue, cost control and profitability.
• Experience managing labour and building effective, commercially focused rosters.
• Strong understanding of stock management, purchasing, wastage and beverage cost control.
• The ability to maintain consistently high service standards during busy and complex event periods.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve the F&B operation and grow revenue.
• A strong focus on accountability, ownership and delivering results.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with both guests and team members.
• The ability to work collaboratively with the General Manager, Executive Chef and wider leadership team.
• A genuine commitment to developing people and building a strong team culture.
