Job summary

Cooinda Lodge Kakadu in the Northern Territory is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage team member to welcome guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with outstanding service.

You will prepare coffee, tea, and alcoholic drinks, maintain dining and bar areas, assist during busy periods and events, and ensure RSA and food safety standards are met. Subsidised staff accommodation and meals are provided on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of experience in restaurant and bar roles.
• Current RSA certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with excellent service.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining and bar areas.
• Assist with setup, pack down, and service during busy periods and events.
• Process payments and operate the POS accurately.
• Ensure RSA, food safety, and hygiene standards are met.

Job Description

Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, and cocktails.

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining and bar areas, including barista equipment.

Assist with setup, pack down, and service support during busy periods and events.

Process payments and operate POS accurately.

Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 24months of experience in a restaurant and bar environment, with solid food safety knowledge.

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (or willingness to obtain prior to starting).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a flexible, team-oriented approach and passion for hospitality.
