Yarra City Council is seeking a skilled Freedom of Information (FOI) Officer to manage and process FOI requests in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic). The role is part time (34 hours per week) with a Band 6 salary starting at 97,222.14 AUD (86,985 pro rata) plus super, and offers hybrid/flexible working arrangements in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in processing FOI requests
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong research and document review capabilities
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of privacy and information management principles
