Job summary

Marina Mooloolaba is a new waterfront venue on the Sunshine Coast seeking experienced Front of House staff, bartenders and waiters to join from the start and grow with the venue.

The team will deliver warm, professional service across casual dining and larger events, including weddings and corporate functions, with RSA and safety standards observed. Flexible, event-based hours are offered, moving toward near full-time as bookings grow.

Qualifications

• Experienced in hospitality, events, restaurants or bars.
• Confident and professional in a guest-facing environment.
• Friendly, energetic and genuinely passionate about hospitality.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy event environment.
• Reliable, punctual and well presented.
• Strong communicators who work well as part of a team.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and event shifts.
• RSA certified where required.
• Experienced in functions/events or high-volume service — highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Delivering warm, professional and attentive service to guests.
• Taking food and beverage orders and ensuring they are delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Setting up and packing down event spaces.
• Serving food and beverages during functions and events.
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation across the venue.
• Providing knowledgeable and friendly bar service.
• Preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer and other beverages.
• Clearing and resetting tables efficiently.
• Working closely with the kitchen, bar and events teams to ensure smooth service.
• Anticipating guest needs and going above and beyond to create a great experience.
• Following RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Assisting with other event and hospitality duties as required.

Marina Mooloolaba is a new and exciting waterfront venue on the Sunshine Coast, bringing together great hospitality, food, drinks and events in a beautiful marina setting.

As we launch and build our business, we're looking for enthusiastic and experienced Front of House team members to join us from the beginning and grow with the venue.

We are currently seeking:

• Front of House Staff

We're a new venue that is growing quickly, with bookings and events increasing as we establish ourselves.

In the initial weeks, hours may be lighter as we build our event calendar and customer base. However, we expect this to increase significantly over the coming weeks, with the opportunity to work close to full-time equivalent hours as the business continues to grow.

About the roles

As part of the Marina Mooloolaba team, you'll play an important role in creating memorable experiences for our guests — from relaxed waterfront dining and drinks through to weddings, celebrations, corporate functions and larger events.
