Job summary

Future You is seeking an experienced Sales Manager for an established FMCG client in Australia. You will lead a team of 5–6 Account Managers, steer the sales strategy, and drive performance, with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture and strong reporting processes.

The role requires commercial agility, decisive execution and comfort with shifting priorities, while maintaining momentum and meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading sales teams within FMCG, wholesale distribution or consumer goods.
• Strong track record of achieving sales growth and delivering against budget targets.
• Proven ability to forecast, plan and manage sales performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing internal sales team.
• Own sales budgets, forecasting and annual planning.
• Drive achievement of company sales targets and commercial objectives.
• Monitor sales performance, KPIs and customer profitability.
• Manage reporting packs and provide meaningful business insights.
• Identify growth opportunities across existing and new customer channels.
• Build and maintain strategic customer and supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with Category, Procurement, Marketing and Operations teams.
• Oversee CRM optimisation, pipeline management and sales processes.
• Involve yourself in product, pricing and promotion to maximise sales outcomes.
