Job summary

LVLY is seeking an experienced Floristry Coordinator in Sydney to lead and train our floristry team, ensuring on-brand, high-quality posies leave the warehouse. You’ll manage daily production, stock, and onboarding while collaborating with the Operations Manager to keep workflow smooth.

Ideal candidates will bring Certificate IV in Floristry, 2+ years of floristry experience, and a hands-on leadership style with strong communication. This is a full-time role based in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Floristry required.
• At least 2 years’ current floristry experience.
• Confidence leading, training and supporting a team of florists.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and motivate the Sydney floristry team.
• Hands-on creating LVLY posies alongside the team.
• Train and onboard new florists to LVLY’s floral style.
• Provide regular, constructive feedback to maintain quality.
• Coordinate daily production and flower allocation.
• Manage stock rotation and assist inventory management.
• Ensure high quality and presentation across all arrangements.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager on workforce planning and rostering.
• Maintain a clean, organized floristry workspace.
• Support floral range reviews, sourcing, corporate orders and events.
• Lead the team through peak periods like Valentine’s/ Mother’s Day.

We’re looking for an experienced florist to join our Sydney team as our Floristry Coordinator.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves creating beautiful flowers but is also ready to take on more responsibility. You’ll lead and support our floristry team, help train new recruits, keep production flowing and make sure every posy leaving our warehouse looks beautifully LVLY.

A day in the life

No two days are quite the same! You’ll start the day making sure the floristry team is set up for success, flowers are allocated, stock is rotated and production is on track.

You’ll be hands‑on creating beautiful posies alongside the team, while keeping an eye on quality, presentation and our signature LVLY floral style.

A big part of your role will be welcoming, training and supporting new recruits, helping them learn our processes, quality standards and what makes a posy feel truly LVLY. You’ll confidently lead your team throughout the day, giving clear and supportive feedback to make sure our quality standards are consistently met.

You’ll also jump in to solve production or stock challenges and work closely with the Operations Manager to keep everything running smoothly.

You’ll get involved in new products, floral range reviews, corporate orders and special projects too. And when Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day roll around, you’ll be right in the action helping lead the team through our biggest and most exciting events of the year.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be a great fit if you…

You’re an experienced florist with a great creative eye, but just as importantly, you’re a positive, energetic people person who enjoys helping others learn and grow.

You’ll feel confident leading a team of florists, setting clear expectations and giving constructive, supportive feedback when needed to ensure every posy meets our quality and presentation standards. You’re comfortable coaching your team in the moment, celebrating what they’re doing well and helping them improve where needed.

You’re organised, comfortable working in a busy environment and happy to jump in and work alongside your team. You care about the little details and take pride in making sure every arrangement leaving the warehouse feels beautifully LVLY.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Certificate IV in Floristry
• At least 2 years’ current floristry experience
• Confidence leading, training and supporting a team of florists
• The ability to give clear, constructive feedback and maintain high quality standards
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A positive, hands‑on approach to leadership
• Forklift experience or licence is a bonus, but not essential
