Job summary

JD Sports Australia & New Zealand in Western Australia is seeking a Floor Manager to lead the store team, deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive sales targets across a fast-paced retail environment.

You will coach staff, use trade reports to spot opportunities, and coordinate visual merchandising with the management team. This role is rostered Tue to Sat with varying shifts, offering a dynamic work culture in the sports fashion sector.

• Experience in a customer-facing service role.
• Previous key holder or supervisor experience preferred but not essential.
• Results driven with KPI focus.

THE ROLE

This role is rostered across Tuesday to Saturday with varying shift times. By applying, you’re confirming your availability to work across these days.

At JD Sports, our customer is at the heart of everything we do. As a Floor Manager, you are a key member of the store leadership team working together to deliver great customer and employee experiences. You are a true sales leader, leading by example with passion and purpose. Your team draws inspiration and motivation from your energy as you coach them to deliver great in-store experiences. The Floor Manager leads with an energetic, collaborative approach. Using your knowledge of retail best practices, you will assist in achieving daily store and business goals, including coaching your team to hit all sales targets.

Youare responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Model great customer service, every customer, every time
• Coaching team to deliver exceptional service and a ‘service over task’ mentality
• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to drive sales and KPI performance
• Utilise reports to identify trade trends, opportunities and implement action plans
• Assist the Management Team to complete weekly visual merchandising direction & promotional launches
• Assist in recruiting, inducting and developing team members
• Uphold company retail standards and deliver visual excellence
• Work with BOH team to ensure product availability and operational excellence

WHO YOU ARE

• Experience in a customer-facing service role
• Previous key holder or supervisor experience preferred but not essential
• Results driven, in order to successfully deliver results and KPIs
• A positive attitude, enabling you to motivate others
• Collaborator with strong communication skills
• Passionate to learn with a growth mindset
• Loves sports fashion brands and is enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge with customers to build brand loyalty
