Job summary

JD Sports Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Department Supervisor to lead your department with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. The role is rostered Sunday to Thursday, with varying shift times, and requires you to coach a team, uphold merchandising standards and drive sales results.

You will work closely with store management to ensure product availability, share brand knowledge, and create a motivating environment that encourages high performance across your team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in retail or similar industry.
• You are passionate about delivering an amazing service experience for our customers.
• You have a positive attitude, with capacity to create a motivating environment for your team.
• You have excellent time management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner.
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, someone who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Model exceptional customer service, every customer, every time.
• Support and guide team to deliver exceptional service and a ‘service over task’ environment.
• Actively gain, maintain and share product & brand knowledge for your department.
• Support management team to improve financial performance within your department.
• Work with back of house team to ensure product availability.
