• Engineering degree required; Aeronautical preferred.
• Extensive experience in a Flight Operations Engineering Department for transport category airline.
• Strong CASA regulation and aviation ops knowledge.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and technical reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong safety/regulatory compliance.
• Advanced computer literacy, including MS Office.

Alliance Airlines is seeking an experienced Flight Operations Performance Engineer to join our Flight Operations Engineering Department in a highly specialised and influential role. Reporting to the Fleet Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring aircraft performance compliance across the fleet while providing expert analysis, technical guidance, and operational support to Flight Operations.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a motivated and technically capable aviation professional who thrives in a dynamic operational environment and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance.

You will bring experience and capability in:

• Managing and supporting aircraft performance activities across a transport category airline environment.
• Producing, reviewing and quality assuring aircraft performance data in accordance with CASA and CASR Part 121 requirements.
• Conducting aircraft performance, airport capability and payload/range analysis to support operational and commercial objectives.
• Monitoring AIS publications, aeronautical information and NOTAMs to assess operational impacts.
• Developing and maintaining aircraft performance manuals, procedures and controlled documentation.
• Administering and supporting Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) applications and associated operational systems.
• Delivering training in aircraft performance and weight and balance to flight crew and operational personnel.
• Collaborating effectively with flight operations, engineering teams, regulators, aircraft manufacturers and other external stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and technologies relating to aircraft performance data management and distribution.

What you will need to succeed?

Degree qualification in Engineering, preferably Aeronautical Engineering.

Extensive experience within a Flight Operations Engineering Department supporting transport category airline operations.

Strong understanding of CASA regulations and aviation operational requirements.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and technical reporting skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

High attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team environment.
