Job summary

Alliance Airlines seeks an experienced Flight Operations Performance Engineer to join our Flight Operations Engineering team. You will ensure aircraft performance compliance across the fleet while providing expert analysis and operational support to Flight Operations.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, flight operations, regulatory compliance and emerging technology, contributing to safety, efficiency and strategic route evaluations.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Engineering, preferably Aeronautical Engineering.
• Extensive experience within a Flight Operations Engineering Department.
• Strong understanding of CASA regulations and aviation operational requirements.
• Analytical, problem-solving and technical reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop aircraft performance data and manuals for the fleet.
• Conduct airport capability assessments and support strategic route evaluations.
• Provide expert technical guidance and operational support to Flight Operations.
• Ensure aircraft performance compliance across the fleet.
• Support safety, efficiency and growth of operations through performance analysis.

Alliance Airlines is seeking an experienced Flight Operations Performance Engineer to join our Flight Operations Engineering Department in a highly specialised and influential role. Reporting to the Fleet Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring aircraft performance compliance across the fleet while providing expert analysis, technical guidance, and operational support to Flight Operations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, flight operations, regulatory compliance, and emerging technology. From developing aircraft performance data and manuals to conducting airport capability assessments and supporting strategic route evaluations, your expertise will directly contribute to the safety, efficiency, and growth of our operations.

What you will need to succeed?

Degree qualification in Engineering, preferably Aeronautical Engineering.

Extensive experience within a Flight Operations Engineering Department supporting transport category airline operations.

Strong understanding of CASA regulations and aviation operational requirements.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and technical reporting skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

High attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team environment.
