Job summary

Jet Aviation is seeking a Flight Line Coordinator to support the B300 capability at RAAF Base East Sale. You will coordinate flight line services and ensure aircraft are prepared safely, efficiently and accurately to meet scheduled flying requirements, working with 32SQN, Jet Aviation Operations and Maintenance Control to align with procedures.

You'll monitor aircraft availability, provide daily status updates, and liaise with OPSMAN and RM to manage changes, with a focus on compliance, safety

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flight line safety and activities.

• Monitor FlightPro Ultra / AusPEX for aircraft availability.
• Provide a Daily Status report to customers before 0900 Mon-Fri.
• Notify OPSMAN/MCS if scheduled tasks cannot be met.
• Support recovery of missed tasks with 32SQN Operations.
• Ensure maintenance records and certifications are completed per AMO procedures.
• Attend daily operations meetings.
• Keep flight line status boards accurate.
• Update CAMP, Aircraft Hours and status reports.
• Arrange out-of-hours support with OPSMAN/RM.
• Liaise to obtain resources to rectify unserviceabilities.
• Travel to deployment areas as required.
• Undertake training courses as directed.

Your Opportunity

Flight Line Coordinator to support the B300 capability at RAAF Base East Sale.

In this role, you will coordinate aircraft flight line services and help ensure aircraft are safely, efficiently and accurately prepared to meet scheduled flying requirements. You will work closely with 32SQN, Jet Aviation Operations, Maintenance Control, maintenance teams and other internal and external stakeholders.

Annual Salary of AUD$103,300 plus Super plus Bonus.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for all safety aspects and coordination of Flight Line activities
• Provide interface between 32SQN and Jet Aviation, including Operations Manager and Maintenance Control (MCS).
• Ensure that flight line activities such as towing, FOD control, aircraft washing, documentation, refuelling and other replenishment activity, receipt inspections and Daily Flight Servicing's are carried out in accordance with extant company procedures, including the MOE, AMP and CAMS Manual.
• Monitor FlightPro Ultra / AusPEX to ensure that sufficient aircraft are available and correctly configured to meet scheduled aircraft programming.
• Provide a Daily Status report to customers prior to 0900 Mon-Fri.
• Where scheduled flying activities cannot be met, ensure that OPSMAN and MCS are notified immediately deficiencies are identified.
• Where scheduled flying activities cannot be met, notify 32SQN Operations and provide assistance to recover missed tasking.
• Where tasking is scheduled outside of contract scope, immediately advise 32SQN Ops and seek advice from the OPSMAN/RM as to actions required.
• Monitor all scheduled maintenance against the requirements of the flying program and provide daily updates to MCS.
• Ensure that all information on the Flight Line status boards is accurate and kept up to date.
• Monitor and ensure information in CAMP, Aircraft Hours Databases and status reports are kept up to date and accurate.
• In conjunction with the OPSMAN and RM ensure that staff are available for out-of-hours support to programmed flying activities.
• Liaise with OPSMAN and/or Crew Leaders to obtain resources to rectify unserviceability's.
• Exercise supervision to ensure that all maintenance records and certifications for work undertaken is completed and certified in accordance with AMO documented procedures to support daily flying requirements.
• Attend and provide input to daily operations meetings.
• Monitor and keep a record of all changes to the Weekly flying program as issued by 1600 each Thursday.
• Monitor and report all changes to the Daily flying program as issued by 1600 each working day and immediately notify MCS and OPSMAN when changes are made at short notice which affect the ability to meet scheduled tasking.
• Ensure that all required information is available for maintenance crew change handover.
• Ensure that Flight Line GSE is serviceable and report any defects or deficiencies to the GSE Coordinator for follow- up action.
• Raise with the RM/QM any observations relating to improvements to processes or procedures.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with AMO, corporate and customer staff and ensure that the Customer is respected at all times
• Actively support and participate in the Jet Aviation Core Values and Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures as detailed in the Jet Aviation Governance and Polices Manual.
• Travel to areas of deployment and other maintenance sites as required.
• Undertake training courses as directed.

What will help you too Succeed

• Experience in Management of Aviation Maintenance activities.
• Demonstrated understanding of Aviation regulatory requirements for Aircraft maintenance, both civil & military (Part M, 145) and Industry regulatory requirements (ISO 9001:2008; W&HS Act).
• Computer Literate in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in a Customer Focused Work environment with multiple priorities and project deadlines
• Hold or have reviously held an Australian Defence Force Security clearance or have the ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, effectively plan and be proactive in all facets of the role to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Highly self-motivated and willing to use initiative.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
