The role requires CASA CPL (A), a Grade II Flight Instructor Rating, multi-engine PIC experience, and relevant checks.

Qualifications

• CASA CPL (A) license is required.
• Flight instructor rating (Gr II) is essential.
• Multi-engine PIC experience (50 hours) required.
• ASIC card or ability to obtain it.
• Working with Children Check or ability to obtain.
• Australian Class 1 Medical certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality flight training across diverse environments.
• Deliver CPL and IREX Theory instruction.
• Conduct concise pre- and post-flight briefs.
• Keep training resources up to date.
• Communicate professionally.
• Foster a safe learning environment and strong safety culture.

National Aviation Academy offers a full range of training, including single and multi-engine aircraft, integrated and non-integrated courses, bachelors, diplomas, private training for all levels up to CPL, Instrument, and Instructor Ratings.

We currently operate from two fixed bases, Townsville and Cairns and work closely with our charter brandZephAir Australia.

We are passionate about flight training and providing a supportive environment for our student pilots. We are looking for someone who is the full package: a highly proficient pilot, who strives to help others succeed.

To this end we are seeking a multi-skilled and enthusiastic Aviation Professional with a passion for flight training.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality flight training in diverse environments
• Subject delivery of CPL and IREX Theory
• Conduct pre and post flight briefs, thoughtfully, in a concise and effective manner
• Ensure training resources are up to date and relevant
• Communicate effectively in a professional manner
• Create a supportive learning environment and promote a strong safety culture
• Complete and maintain training records and assessment results
• Mentor student pilots and demonstrate a high level of airmanship

Minimum Qualifications:

• CASA CPL (A)
• CASA Flight Instructor Rating, Gr II
• 50 Hours Multi-EnginePIC inc. ICUS
• ASIC card (or ability to obtain)
• Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
• Australian Class 1 Medical
