Job summary

National Aviation Academy in Townsville delivers comprehensive flight training across single and multi-engine aircraft, offering CPL, IREX and instructor ratings. We seek a multi-skilled aviation professional to provide high-quality training and foster a supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will hold CASA CPL (A) and a Gr II Flight Instructor Rating, with multi-engine PIC experience and the ability to obtain ASIC/WWC. DAMP compliance and a long-term commitment are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold CASA CPL (A) and Flight Instructor Rating Gr II.
• Minimum 50 hours Multiengine PIC including ICUS.
• ASIC and WWC or ability to obtain prior to joining.
• Australian Class 1 Medical required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality flight training in diverse environments.
• Deliver CPL and IREX theory instruction.
• Conduct concise pre- and post-flight briefs.
• Maintain up-to-date training resources and records.

National Aviation Academy offers a full range of training, including single and multi-engine aircraft, integrated and non-integrated courses, bachelors, diplomas, private training for all levels up to CPL, Instrument, and Instructor Ratings.

We currently operate from two fixed bases, Townsville and Cairns and work closely with our charter brand ZephAir Australia.

We are passionate about flight training and providing a supportive environment for our student pilots. We are looking for someone who is the full package: a highly proficient pilot, who strives to help others succeed.

To this end we are seeking a multi-skilled and enthusiastic Aviation Professional with a passion for flight training.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality flight training in diverse environments
• Subject delivery of CPL and IREX Theory
• Conduct pre and post flight briefs, thoughtfully, in a concise and effective manner
• Ensure training resources are up to date and relevant
• Communicate effectively in a professional manner
• Create a supportive learning environment and promote a strong safety culture
• Complete and maintain training records and assessment results
• Mentor student pilots and demonstrate a high level of airmanship

Minimum Qualifications

• CASA CPL (A)
• CASA Flight Instructor Rating, Gr II
• 50 Hours Multi-EnginePIC inc. ICUS
• ASIC card (or ability to obtain)
• Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
• Australian Class 1 Medical

• Multi Engine Class Rating Training Approval

• Night VFR Training Endorsement
