Kirinari Community Services is seeking Christmas casual Disability Support Workers to deliver person-centred, therapeutic supports that empower people with disability to live the life they choose. Qualifications

• Understand person-centred and strengths-based practice.
• Able to build genuine, respectful relationships.
• Calm, resilient and emotionally intelligent.
• Balance empathy with professional boundaries.
• Commitment to participant choice and dignity.
• Availability during December 2026 and January 2027.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• First Aid and CPR qualification.
• Driver Licence and own vehicle.
• Working With Children/Vulnerable Persons Check.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Support participants to build independence and daily living skills.
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
• Promote choice, control and self-determination.
• Facilitate community participation and social connection.
• Support participants to achieve their individual goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
