Job summary

Collarcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our aged care team across the Far North Coast NSW. You will provide clinical care to residents, document conditions, assist with medications, monitor nutrition, and uphold infection control and aged care standards.

Requirements include AHPRA RN registration, NSW working rights, vaccination records (2x covid+booster, flu), CPR/First Aid, Police check, 100 points ID, and NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• AHPRA RN registration is mandatory to practice as a nurse in Australia.
• Experience in working in Australian aged care facilities is required (not placements).
• Must provide evidence of vaccination (COVID x2 + booster, flu).
• Current CPR & First Aid certification and a valid Police Check within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to residents.
• Document resident conditions and assist with medication administration.
• Assist with meals and monitor nutrition.
• Maintain infection control and follow aged care standards.
• Support admissions and facilitate transitions for residents and families.
• Coordinate with residents, families, doctors and allied health professionals.
