MedHealth Group seeks a Rehabilitation Consultant to join its multidisciplinary allied health team in VIC. The role supports injured employees to regain independence and return to work through tailored assessments and RTW planning.

The ideal candidate is an Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Chiropractor, Osteopath or Physiotherapist with accreditation and a passion for customer-focused care. Travel and a flexible, hybrid work model are offered to grow your career.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic, Osteopathy or Physiotherapy.
• Willingness to travel; a current vehicle and driver’s licence is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service.
• Punctuality and time management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers and design/implement/monitor programs for injured employees to return to work.
• Undertake assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic and equipment assessments.
• Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes.
• Develop and implement strategies to progress files and achieve RTW benchmarks with minimum costs.
• Design, implement and monitor programs to assist injured employees to return to the workforce.
