Medical & Aged Care Group operates Oaklea Hall Aged Care in Melbourne's southeast and is hosting a part-time Laundry Assistant role. The position supports residents by delivering a hygienic, efficient laundry service in a warm, family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry handling or a similar role.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and infection control practices.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy.

Responsibilities

• Launder resident clothing with care according to individual preferences.
• Launder and maintain supply of clean, well-presented facility linen.
• Provide laundry services in line with care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of laundry activities.
• Follow infection control practices and keep a clean, safe work area.
• Use resources responsibly and cost-efficiently.
• Work as part of a collaborative team and support a positive culture.
• Attend mandatory training and education sessions.
