Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs to provide practical in-home care for elderly clients. This permanent part-time role runs Monday to Friday in the Eastern Suburbs, with a pay rate of $36.23–$37.68 per hour plus 1.05 per kilometre and travel time.

You will assist with housekeeping, transport to appointments, personal care, and meal preparation, empowering clients to maintain independence at home. Bidding for flexibility and community impact is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent required.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred, or a strong desire to start a career in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Help at home with housekeeping, groceries, and meals.
• Escort clients to appointments and social activities.
• Support with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and meal assistance.
