Job summary

Healthcarelink Support is seeking a Contractor Occupational Therapist in Grafton, NSW. The role offers flexible contractor hours, with a diverse caseload across NDIS, paediatrics, community, and aged care sectors.

Manage your own schedule while receiving strong professional support from an experienced multidisciplinary team. You will conduct assessments, deliver therapy, and provide home modification recommendations in clinic, community, home, and outreach settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional capacity assessments and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Complete assistive technology assessments and recommendations.
• Deliver ongoing therapy services focused on capacity building and achieving client goals.
• Conduct cognitive and functional assessments.
• Provide occupational therapy services to children, adults, and older Australians.
• Deliver services across clinic, community, home, and outreach settings.
• Complete home modification assessments and equipment prescription recommendations.
• Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders.
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and NDIS-compliant reporting.
