Job summary

Healthcarelink Support is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist Contractor to deliver across Yamba and surrounding areas. You’ll manage a flexible caseload within NDIS, community, paediatric and aged care services, with autonomy over your schedule and support from a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional capacity assessments and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Complete assistive technology assessments and recommendations.
• Deliver ongoing therapy focused on capacity building and client-centred outcomes.
• Conduct cognitive and functional assessments.
• Provide occupational therapy services to children, adults, and older Australians.
• Deliver services across clinic, community, home, and outreach settings.
• Complete home modification assessments and equipment prescription recommendations.
• Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and NDIS-compliant reports.
